Alongside class buffs, patch 2.2.1 introduces several changes to Season 8 content and quality of life improvements. One notable change is that Sayeena, a key NPC, now sells Oath Scrolls in exchange for Spectral Ash. This provides players with a new way to spend the resource, which had been accumulating rapidly for those grinding Apparition Incursions buy Diablo 4 gold.
Boss Powers have been adjusted to better balance difficulty. Sinerat’s Flames sees its main boss power damage increased from 50% to 75%, making fights more challenging. Hatred’s Embrace’s Haste modifier no longer falls off when switching weapons, improving consistency during combat.
Other improvements include better visibility of the Apparition Incursion icon and more consistent spawning of Betraying Eyes near the Apparition Boss. An additional objective has been added to clarify that season reputation can be earned from both Incursion events and defeating bosses across Sanctuary Diablo 4 Items.
These tweaks aim to refine the seasonal experience, making it more engaging and less frustrating for players as they progress through Season 8.
